Much of what it means to be a church doesn’t happen on Sunday morning.
The reality is that God desires that we truly come together and build relationships that glorify Jesus, stimulate us to obedience, and encourage us through trials and temptation.
At Gateway, we build these relationships two ways: through membership and Community Groups.
Membership
We think it matters that each of us is known by the church and knows the church. As a local church, it is our task to steward the gospel of Jesus in our community and in order to do that we covenant together around a shared commitment to fulfill the Bible’s design for the local church.
You can learn more about membership by attending a “Get to Know Gateway” our 90 minute Sunday night class that outlines our beliefs, our structure, and our mission. After attending a Get to Know Gateway session you can pursue membership by setting up a membership interview with an elder.
The membership interviews are a chance for our leaders to get to know you, hear your story, and make sure that you get plugged in to the life of the church.

Community Groups
Our Community Groups are small groups of people (usually 10-15) who gather weekly to hang out, discuss the sermon, encourage each other, and pray.
Everyone is welcome at our community groups and each group provides an environment that is kid-friendly so feel free to bring the whole family.
Community Groups are listed below and are open to new guests:
